Just a few weeks late, but I have finally arrived. My ultimate destination is a terrace en Provence shaded by sycamores: siipping an aperitif, spreading goat cheese on a baguette slice while channeling Madame Child. For now, however, I'll settle for Fort Myers, South County Regional and blogging.

If anyone deserves an appertif and a platter of cheese on a balcony in Provence it's you Ms. R. Sure hope it happens for you one day!
By the way, just read in the AAA magazine about a new "foodie" book by someone named Flinn who took the cooking course at the Cordon Bleu. Let me think - something about crying and sharpening a knife. I'll find it for you.
Oh, and for ONLY 4500 bucks, you can spend a culinary week with her in Paris!
